Meet our team
Wade Fishenden, owner and lead designer is a 2nd generation Tamworth cowboy who was born and raised in the arena. His deep-rooted connection to the cowboy lifestyle is evident in every aspect of his work. Wade's journey in the world of rodeo began at a young age, and his dedication and talent quickly set him apart.
At just 14 years old, Wade won the ABCRA Team Roping Rookie Title in 1994, showcasing his skill and determination. Over the years, he has dabbled in various events, from steer riding to rope and tie, but his passion has always been firmly focused on team roping. This commitment has made him well recognised in the rodeo community.
Wade is a Saddler by trade and works full time in his fathers business Mal Fishenden Saddlery, hand crafting quality Australian made saddles. He is a husband to Lorrayne and a proud father to Shane and Falynn. His family is his anchor and inspiration, driving him to create a brand that not only reflects his values but also sets a positive example for the next generation of cowboys.
Starting Big Jesse was a dream born out of Wade's desire to leave a lasting legacy. Having faced his own life battles, he understands the importance of hard work and a strong mindset. Through Big Jesse, Wade aims to inspire positive change and encourage others to embrace the rugged spirit of the Australian cowboy.
With a blend of authentic design and practical functionality, Wade ensures that every piece of clothing from Big Jesse embodies the attitude and resilience of those who live and breathe the Australian cowboy way of life.
